Refund Policy

1. Overview
At AliveGuardian, we want you to be completely satisfied with our service. This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for premium subscription payments.
This policy applies to all subscription payments processed through our payment provider. AliveGuardian acts as the service provider; all payments are processed by our authorized merchant of record.
2. Free Plan
The AliveGuardian free plan requires no payment and is not subject to this refund policy. You can use the free plan indefinitely at no cost, and you can cancel or delete your account at any time.
3. Premium Subscriptions
Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and provide access to additional features such as unlimited documents, unlimited contacts, increased storage, and priority support.
You may cancel your premium subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be made after cancellation.
Subscription fees already paid for the current billing period are generally non-refundable, except as described in the sections below.
4. EU Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to withdraw from your subscription within 14 calendar days of your initial purchase, without giving any reason.
To exercise your right of withdrawal:
- Send an email to [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase
- Include your account email address and the date of purchase
- State clearly that you wish to withdraw from the subscription
If you have actively used premium features during the withdrawal period, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the services already provided. If you have not used any premium features, you will receive a full refund.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us by email with the following information:
- Your account email address
- The date and amount of the charge
- The reason for your refund request
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 5 business days.
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Refunds are issued in the original currency of the transaction. Any currency conversion differences are the responsibility of your bank.
7. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will generally not be issued in the following situations:
- You simply forgot to cancel before the renewal date (we recommend cancelling at least 24 hours before your billing period ends)
- You have violated our Terms of Service and your account was terminated as a result
- More than 14 days have passed since the charge and no technical issue has been reported
